On Dacor dual-fuel ranges the gas cooktop keeps working while the electric oven side develops its own faults, and on all-gas models the oven igniter is the usual suspect when preheat stretches past 20 minutes. I test the igniter under load rather than by eye, since a glowing igniter can still be too weak to open the valve. It is a stocked part and a one-visit repair.
Relay board failure on legacy Epicure and Renaissance units. Fremont has plenty of Dacor units from the 2000s still in service, and the relay boards from that era fail two ways: no heat at all, or an element that will not shut off. The second one is a safety issue and I move those calls up the schedule. The good news is Samsung-era parts supply covers most of these boards now, so the repair is realistic instead of a hunt.
