Dacor is American luxury cooking, and since Samsung bought the brand in 2016 the parts are dependable again. We service it, and here’s the honest read for an owner.

The call we run most is the oven control. A dark display, a stored fault code, or an oven that stops holding temperature. Before condemning anything we read the code in diagnostic mode, because a drifting oven sensor and a failed control board look identical from the front and cost very different money. Bake and broil igniters, worn door hinge cartridges, and gaskets round out the usual list. On the induction ranges it’s the generator board that fails, usually with an element-fault code and intermittent power.

Repair-or-replace math is easy on a Dacor. It’s set into custom cabinetry, and swapping a built-in wall oven or a 48-inch range runs into thousands plus a refit, so fixing it almost always wins. Gas work is licensed under CSLB #1136642 and we carry a leak detector on the truck.
