- Presrv cooler losing the fight in summer heat. When a Concord kitchen hits the high 80s, a Presrv unit with a tired condenser fan or dusty coils cannot shed heat and the cabinet temperature creeps up. Cleaning coils and replacing the condenser fan solves most of these. If the sealed system itself is low, that repair carries our two year warranty.
- Hood blower squealing at startup. A squeal that fades as the motor warms up is bearing wear, common on hoods that have run daily since a 2010s remodel. On Zephyr's brushless DCBL motors the fix is a motor assembly, not a lube job, and I quote it in writing before touching anything.
- Touch panel works but speeds are stuck. Some Zephyr boards fail partially: power and lights respond, but the fan is locked on one speed. That is a relay or triac on the control board. I confirm it with the board out rather than guessing, because the same symptom can come from the blower side.
