I test the element and thermostats, replace what's dead, and check the vent run to the exterior, since garage installs here often have long flexible ducting that chokes airflow.
Washer won't start, door lock light blinking. The door lock assembly is a wear item on Electrolux front-loaders, and when it fails the machine refuses to start even though everything else is fine. On stacked units in Saratoga condos I also check the wiring harness at the door hinge, since flexing eventually cracks a conductor and mimics a bad lock.
Range display works but the oven won't heat, F-code after a few minutes. An F11 or similar relay fault on the electronic oven control usually means the board's bake relay has failed. The board is shared across Electrolux and Frigidaire ranges of the same era, so availability is decent. I confirm with a live test at the element terminals before ordering, because a broken element wire can imitate a board fault.
