The fix is a bearing and seal kit plus a couple hours of labor. I price it in writing first, because on an older unit you deserve real numbers before deciding between repair and replacement.
Centennial dryer tumbles but makes no heat. The usual suspects on a MEDC465HW are the thermal fuse (part 3392519) or the heating element. Both are cheap Whirlpool-platform parts we keep on the van. I always check why the fuse blew, because restricted airflow will pop the new one too, and I would rather tell you that at the first visit than sell you the same fuse twice.
