That is part of the $75 diagnostic. I measure the voltage the machine actually receives when the compressor starts. If it sags out of spec, you get that finding in writing for your electrician, and you have not paid me to replace parts that were never the problem.

We clean carefully, straighten what can be straightened, and give you an honest read on how much coil is left. Sometimes the answer is the unit has years, sometimes it is time to plan.
Wine cooler holding 62 instead of 55. Warm but running usually means the condenser is blinded by dust or the fan is weak, and in older Richmond homes the unit often sits in a corner that has not been vacuumed behind in a decade. Pull, clean, test fan and amp draw, verify pulldown to setpoint. Most of these calls end without a major part.
