Thermador oven overheating in Dublin
The call A Dublin homeowner’s Thermador wall oven was overheating during longer bakes and flashing an error code. The cooling fan also made an odd noise trying to spin up.
What we found The cooling fan motor had failed. That fan moves heat away from the electronics and the door, so when it stops the oven overheats and the control throws a code to protect itself. Nothing more dramatic than that.
The fix Pulled the rear panel, replaced the cooling fan motor with the genuine Thermador part, and checked the temperature sensors and power supply to be sure the overheating hadn’t taken anything else with it.
How it turned out Fan kicks in on cue, temperature holds, code’s gone. One visit. Yes, we service Thermador and the other premium brands. The honest read here was a straightforward motor swap, not a reason to worry about the whole oven.
