DishDrawer rotor position sensor fault. The DD24 uses a direct-drive motor with a rotor position sensor, and when that sensor drifts the drawer hums, stops, and throws a motor fault a few minutes into the cycle. It is a known weak point and a clean repair. We test the sensor and the stator windings before ordering anything, because a shorted stator looks similar and costs more.
Drain pump blocked by broken glass. Ranch-house kitchens with kids and pets send a lot of broken glass through these drawers. A shard in the drain pump makes a rattling drain, then no drain at all, and the drawer holds gray water. We pull the pump, clear the housing, and check the impeller for chipped vanes. If the impeller is chewed up we replace the pump rather than reinstall a damaged one.
Induction cooktop losing pan detection on one zone. On CI365 induction tops a single zone that stops recognizing pans usually traces to the generator board for that side, not the pan. We confirm with a known-good pan and a current check before quoting the board, because the board is the expensive part and I do not replace it on a guess.
